Scrapbooking is my creative outlet and a way to preserve our family's memories. I've been scrapbooking since 2000, but after adopting 2 girls I had to take a 2 year hiatus because I just didn't have the time. I'm just now getting started again, and started this blog to give me a little accountability.

Summer Fun
My parents got a new pool back in 2007 (I think), and it was finally warm enough to get in on Memorial Day.
The dog and bone were made at a CM crop with the heart punch. You use 3 hearts in brown and one in white. For the ears, cut one brown heart in half. The place the white heart on a brown facing the correct way, and then place one upside down brown on top of the white. Then draw the eyes, mouth and nose. The bone is made with the mini heart maker by punching 2 small hearts and attaching them on the end of a strip of paper.

Beach Bums
These are from a trip to Orange Beach, Alabama that we took with some dear friends of ours.
The "stick figures" are a Creative Memories idea.
I honestly don't remember if I cased this layout from CM or not, but I'll put in this disclaimer just in case. lol
The "Flip Floppin' Fun" title is a CM idea. The rest of the layout is my own doing. It's simple, but I'm all about cute and simple.
Water fun in Paradise
We went to Jamaica for our 5th anniversary and stayed at a San.dals resort. While there we did some snorkeling, rode the water trike, and went out on a catamaran.
This layout was made with a scrapbooking pack from Stam.pin' Up (SU).
